Welcome back to the Healing Her podcast! Today, I am joined by the amazing Beth Brady. Beth is a director at Solari, an organization that fields the 9-8-8 calls in Arizona and Oaklahoma. She is an expert in clinical mental health and suicide prevention, was ranked as one of the top two mental health first aid instructors in the state of Arizona and has been in the field of mental health for over 15 years.
In this episode, we are talking about the three things you can do to better equip yourself and those you love in learning how to talk about suicide, a very stigmatized topic. How do I help friends or family who are having suicidal thoughts? What resources are available if I myself feel hopeless? How do I support friends and family who have lost a loved one to suicide? We will be answering all of these questions and more so stay tuned.
