Welcome back to the Healing Her podcast! Today, I am thrilled to be joined by Mary Jelkovsky of Mary’s Cup of Tea! Mary’s mission is to empower others to love themselves unconditionally and through her books, podcast and self-love retreats, she has created a community of women who are ready to love themselves exactly as they are! Over the years, Mary has struggled with the feeling of “I am not enough” – which included an eight-year battle with an eating disorder – but on her road to recovery, she has learned to take up space in this world unapologetically.
In this episode, we are talking about the type of grief that comes when you grieve dreams that are unrealized or when you grieve a past that is different from what you thought it was going to be. I feel like many of us are struggling with this right now and that’s why we’ll be discussing moments in our past that we find ourselves grieving now, the anxiety of losing something or someone that you love, and living in survival mode. Besides this, Mary will share some tangible tools she’s used to help her build a life that she’s excited to participate in as well as allowing herself to be celebrated. Keep listening to learn more!
